2.6 G# pitch CHIKUSING Model shakuhachi
Light weight Goma bamboo harvested after curing in the ground. Moved thumb hole for perfect tuning. Go no Hi ( second octave thumb note needs to be played in one of the standard alternate fingerings # 1, #2 or both holes open for more dynamic response. Relatively easy player. Very organic warm bambooey tone color. Perfect for those who cannot handle heavy flutes for any length of time.
