1.8 TENSEI Modern Jiari Tozan Style Shakuhachi made by JYOSUI - Light Water - around the 1960’s. A =-440hz. Refurbished chipped utaguchi inlay. Superficial crack bound with urushi sealed Nylon cord. Nakatuski joint made snug with new urushi. Refubished interior top with urushi. Beautiful shaved root in the early Komuso Monk style.

Hear this flute. I am playing neutrally to give a clearer idea of the integrity of the tuning and voice.

Intermediate/advanced level instrument. Standard sized bore, fast response and quick attack with plenty of volume. Honks for the experienced player. Plays in the range of today’s $1,400.
