. 1.8 Komuso Monks Shakuhachi. This is a wonderful playing old antique probably made at the tail end of the Edo Period.
Very easy to play and fully functional flute that works throughout two and one half octaves. It is pitched around C# with a characteristically sharp Chi (#3 hole). This is perfect for solo Zen Honkyoku playing. Original Ivory utaguchi inlay. Has repaired crack with Topical Nylon cord sealed with urushi lacquer.
