This is a very fine intermediate advanced level Kinko Ryu style shakuhachi

I am offering this instrument for a fellow student of Ralph Samuelson. This flute was made around the 1960’s by a masterful maker. It has a classic Kinko Ryu sound and reacts smoothly with all fingerings and ornamentations. The tuning is great. This is a perfect instrument for serious or performance. There are repaired cracks with rattan inlays and topical nylon cord sealed with Honshu red urushi. The joint is snug. This flute has been evaluated and guaranteed to be a fine traditional shakuhachi instrument. There is a 14-day audition period. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
