Newly finished Earth Model flute made from Chinese Madake Bamboo harvested in 2002. A smooth playing natural bore flute with the upgrades of an Kinko Style Utaguchi blowing edge inlay made from Water Buffalo Horn and American Lacquer in the bore.

This is a non root end 2.8 EARTH Model bass shakuhachi pitched in F#. It is a fat piece of Chinese Madake bamboo that was harvested specially for me in Zhejiang China in 2001. Because of it’s length, it is made for the taller player with medium to large hands. This instrument is a great example of a fully functional, wide bore Jinashi style bass shakuhachi.
