This was Jet two years ago helping me in the shop.

This week, he graduated to using a saw! Don’t let your kid’s try this at home without proper supervision. Jet and Sasa has been training with me since day one.

Jet was born at 21 1/2” in length. The same length as a 1.8 shakuhachi.

One thing the kids constantly remind me of is to accept, respect and cherish their individuality. Every child is a reminder of the beauty and fragility of life.

Off to a rehearsal where I can use the shakuhachi in a theatrical setting!
