Tamuke for Somer Thompson

Perry Yung Shakuhachi Image

The Kanji on the right of the notation (also Chinese characters) read “Hands Folded in Prayer”. It is played for the safe passage of the soul by the Fuke sect of Zen Buddhism.

I couldn’t find the energy to write about Somer as my heart grows heavy thinking about it. But I did want to play Tamuke for her. If you have a time for a moment of silence today, please take a deep breath and send positive vibes to her family. Be well.
