Haunting sounds of Halloween

On this damp Hallow’s eve in Rye New York, we waited for the local pagan march to begin.
The sun began to settle as the shadow of the old trees grew, it suddenly occurred to me that were near the spot where the story of the Ichabad Crane and the headless horseman - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - was written. And as we slowly walked the glistening paths surrounded by trolls, goblins, Spidermen and Michael Jacksons, I heard the haunting sounds of the shakuhachi dance with the flicker of candle lights.

Came across this ancient face from a Noh mask carved into a pumpkin.
Boo!
